• The 2022 Municipal Election takes place on Monday, October 24th. In Ward 2 at Ernest Cumberland Elementary School from 10 a.m. – 8 p.m.

• Online Voting opens on Tuesday, October 11, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. and closes on October 24 at 8 p.m.

• Advanced Polls are:

• Thursday, October 13, 10 a.m. – 8 p.m. – Beeton Memorial Arena Hall

• Saturday, October 15, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. – Alliston Memorial Arena Hall

• Wednesday, October 19, 10 a.m. – 8 p.m. – Tottenham Community & Fitness Centre (gym)

• Polls close on Voting Day (Oct. 24) at 8 p..m.

For the 2022 Municipal and School Board election, New Tecumseth voters can cast their ballot in person at their assigned polling station, or electronically (internet voting).

Online Voting opens on Tuesday, October 11, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. and ends at 8:00 p.m. on Voting Day (October 24th).

Information on how to vote online will be sent to each registered voter in the Ward by mail. Once a person has voted electronically they cannot vote again.

Advanced Polling dates are:

• Thursday, October 13th, 2022 (10:00 am – 8:00 pm)

• Saturday, October 15th, 2022 ( 10:00 am – 4:00 pm)

• Wednesday, October 19th, 2022 (10:00 am – 8:00 pm)

Anyone can vote in a municipal election who, on the day of the election, is:

• a resident of the municipality or an owner or tenant of land in the municipality or the spouse of such owner or tenant;

• a Canadian citizen, and at least 18 years old; and

• not legally prohibited from voting.

In Ward 2 voters can cast their in-person ballot for Mayor, Deputy Mayor, Councillor and School Board Trustee at: Ernest Cumberland Elementary School at 8th Ave. and Morrison Ave from 10 a.m. – 8 p.m.
